We’re a seasonal outdoor attraction, so hours change throughout the year. Summer brings our longest hours (around 9am–11pm daily), with reduced hours in the off-season — all weather permitting. Check our hours here before visiting.
How much does it cost to play?
We offer single-round tickets with a discounted rate for children, plus a discounted second round if you want to play both courses. You’ll also save $1 per ticket when you buy online. Rates can vary by season, so check our website for current pricing and the best online deals.
Can I buy tickets online, or do I need a reservation?
No reservation needed — walk-ins are always welcome. But buying online saves you $1 per ticket and a little time at the box office, which is especially nice during the busy summer months.
What makes Dinosaur Adventure Golf unique?
It’s a prehistoric adventure you won’t find anywhere else! You’ll discover an 85-foot-long steamship — you actually putt through and on top of the ship — along with waterfalls, streams, a hot air balloon, and life-sized dinosaurs as you play. The centerpiece is the ship with a towering T-Rex on it, making for unforgettable photos.
How many courses are there, and how long does a round take?
We feature two creatively designed 18-hole courses — the Raptor and the T-Rex — for a full 36 holes. Most groups finish an 18-hole round in about 45 minutes to an hour, with the second course ready whenever you want more dino fun.
Are the dinosaurs life-sized?
Yes! The courses are beautifully landscaped and filled with realistic, life-sized dinosaur replicas and vibrant details that bring the prehistoric theme to life. They’re a huge hit with kids and dino-loving adults alike.
Is Dinosaur Adventure Golf good for kids and all ages?
Absolutely — we’re built for family fun. Our two courses range from easy to more challenging, and it’s a good idea to start little ones on the easier course for their first round. With dinosaurs around every turn, kids stay captivated the whole way through.
Can we really feed the fish?
Yes — and it’s a favorite for the little ones! We have a koi pond with fish food available, adding an extra layer of fun to your round. Keep an eye out for it as you play.
Is there food or drinks available?
We keep refreshments on hand, including ice cream treats and cold drinks like Gatorade and soda to help you stay cool on warm coastal days. It’s the perfect way to recharge between courses.
Are there discounts or a second-round deal?
Yes — you save $1 per ticket when you buy online, and we offer a discounted second round the same day. Even better, you can use that discounted second round here or at our sister course, Professor Hacker’s Lost Treasure Golf.
What is the “mystery hole”?
It’s a fun bonus on each course! Ask one of our expedition guides about the Mystery Hole — land your shot on the right hole and you could win a free game. It’s a great reason to come back and play again.
What happens if it rains?
Since we’re outdoors, play is weather permitting. If a storm interrupts your round, just ask our staff — guests have been able to get a rain check to come back and finish another time. When the weather looks iffy, it’s smart to call ahead.
How much walking is involved — is the course accessible?
Our course winds through hills and scenery, so there is some elevation change and you’ll want steady, comfortable footwear. If you have specific accessibility questions or needs, give us a call before your visit and we’ll be glad to help.
What should I wear or bring?
Comfortable shoes are a must for the hills and walking, and since we’re outdoors on the coast, bring water and sunscreen — it can get hot, though there’s some shade along the way. Cold drinks are available on-site if you need to cool down.

Yes! Professor Hacker has three North Myrtle Beach courses — Dinosaur Adventure, Lost Treasure Golf, and Mayday Golf. Lost Treasure Golf takes you up a mountain by mining train, while Mayday Golf sends you through a jungle where Professor Hacker’s plane crashed. Play one, and you’ll want to play them all.
